Transitional Pastor Bryan McFarland
Bryan joined CIC Presbyterian on November 3, 2019. Ever since moving to Greensboro in 1999 I’ve been fascinated and impressed with Community in Christ, Presbyterian. Jim Rissmiller served on
the board who called me to Presbyterian Campus Ministry at
UNCG back then. I led worship here a few times in that capacity and in other capacities throughout these 20 years and I came to see there is something special at & about CiC. I am eager to serve as ‘Compassionate Consultant’ alongside of you seeking
definition through this transition.”
An award-winning singer & songwriter, Bryan lives in Greensboro with his wife, Diane. Their daughter, Meagan, is a Junior at Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, GA. Maintaining that everyone “geeks out” about something, Bryan enjoys sauntering in the woods, watching the Animaniacs, sharing music trivia, listening to numerous & varied podcasts, and learning the
rudiments & intricacies of disc golf.
