Meet Our Preschool Staff

Kathy Dotson - Director of Preschool Program

Kathy has been working at CIC Preschool for 16 years. Kathy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has over 25 years of experience in early education. She loves working with the children and families enrolled in the Preschool program. She is passionate about providing a safe and nuturing environment for children and she feels that it is an honor to be working in such a caring community of faith

Belinda Blake - Pre-K

Belinda loves children! She believes children should learn through play. She was a teacher assistant for 10 years at Brightwood Elementary in Greensboro and has been teaching at CiC,P for the past 6 years. She and her family have been active church members here for 26 years.

Lorraine Coble - Assistant Pre-K Teacher

Lorraine Coble has three children ages 27, 23 and 21. She has lived in Julian, NC for 31 years and this is her 18th year at CIC Preschool, either full-time or substituting. Her youngest daughter attended the CIC Pre-K class. She is a member of Pleasant Union UMC and is active in her church. In her spare time she enjoys making cards, cooking and watching birds and butterflies in her garden. She has always been involved in children's activities from 4-H, scouts, PTA, grade parent and youth leader.

Judy Sanderson - Lead Teacher 3's

Keven Cockrell - Toddlers

Keven loves helping our terrific toddlers explore the wonderful world God created. She has been teaching groups of children in various capacties since 1994. Her son attended CIC Preschool and grew up in the loving community of this church. Keven serves as the Director of Children's Ministries at CIC and is very thankful to be married to the most supportive man ever!
